Federal officials are investigating what appears to be a coordinated cyber attack on water plants across at least seven states this week. The attack impacted technology at the water systems, forcing some to issue boil water advisories and switch to manual operations. In Minnesota alone, more than 30 systems were affected. Wisconsin says it was also targeted. The main worry is whether drinking water is impacted, but there have been no reports of contamination. State and federal authorities are now trying to figure out who's behind the attack.
